This is Oishi from the Festival Office. The support crew is now up and running at full speed. The name “Channel Cream” was chosen for our broadcasting office at a recent meeting in Aka-Renga. We also decided to produce a “relay interview” as one of our shows. The first one was recorded on the 17th of this month.
The first interview subject was Festival Director Sumitomo. We spoke about a wide range of topics, from the objectives of the Festival to his memories of childhood. As soon as we have edited this footage, you will be able to view the interview on our website.
This and other activities are organized and executed by the Support Crew, made up of Yokohama community volunteers. Anyone interested in image-making is urged to register and join our team!
Also, starting tomorrow we will be holding “Salon 6” screenings for the ZAIM Support Crew every Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Each time committee members will bring along various video works to introduce (not limited to those artists participating in the festival), and we watch and discuss. Tomorrow’s screening will focus on the work of Jung Yeondoo.
These events are not limited to the Support Crew members, and all are welcome to attend. Food and drink will be provided!
