Award winner’s comments

"I am so delighted to have been chosen to receive such a fantastic award. For more than a year, I have doing web-based audiovisual work with various successes and failures, and with VOICE-PORTRAIT I feel in my own way that I found a landing point. Even so, I still have the same impression that I had straight after I’d finished it, that is, that I don’t really understand what it is I’ve created. I’ll keep this point in mind and try to connect it with my next production. I hope that many people go and see this film at the International Festival for Arts and Media Yokohama. Thank you very much."
