Using the media of photography and video Jung Yeondoo has engaged in numerous projects that focus on the process of building communication with other people. At the root of his work, the reality and the dreams of people coexist, and his projects appear as an illusion where he reproduces the world of dreams within the world of reality. Cine Magician is an experiment where he intermingles the respective production of film and theatre creating new perspectives and tensions, using “a world that unfolds on the stage”, “the world of the audience appreciating what is taking place on the stage” and “turning that space into images using a camera”.
