Fiona Tan has exhibited numerous works that explore how photographs and film express and capture images of culturally diverse people and groups. Although these media have a proven ability to record images, she is deeply interested in the idea of the fiction and the fantasy created between the photographer and the viewer. In her work Changeling, created from old photo albums obtained in a flea market, she has endowed fragments of photographs from the past with fictional stories.
