An international program featuring films that explore trends in new media culture throughout the world, selected by Japanese, Chinese, British and Egyptian artists and curators who are active in the fields of animation, video art, media art etc.

This project is focus on the new development of Hangzhou, after the first new media art department have start in 2003 (prepared since 2001), lead by Zhang Peili, Hangzhou is the place for China Art Academy and those interesting artists like Huang Yongping, Wu Shanzhuan, Wang Jianwei, Qiu Zhijie, Yang Fudong, Gao Shiming. And that lead me and Gaofei for the research to find the string out of such history of the 85 and to have a relative study for the new and coming art form with the new aesthetic trying.
This project is particular with artists (recently graduated from Hang Zhou since 2003) use the format of video and animation in the different aspect as media art or chart or drawing or performance.
Li Zhenhua
Born in 1975 in Beijing and lives in Beijing. In 1999, graduated at ICA, London. As an artist, joined the group exhibition at “beam me up” (Zurich) and “Guangzhou Triennial” (Guanzhou). As an curator, Zhehua recently curated “3rd Nanjing Triennal”（Nanjing）, “Cina Cina Cina!!! Chinese Contemporary Arts beyond the global market” (Norwich), “eARTS festival” (Shanghai) and etc.
GaoYanfei
Born in Jinggangshan,Jiangxi Province,China.1984. Graduated from The Total Art Studio, The Department of Experimental Art, China Academy Of Art.2007. Lives in Beijing. As an artist, Yanfei has participated “eARTS Festival” (Shanghai), “Art & Life 366” (Zendai), “Touch Film”(Shanghai), and etc.
