The interactive works of Hosotani Hiromasa of the Masahiko Sato Laboratory, Tokyo University of the Arts are based on a theme of ever-changing elements (shadows, signs and illusions etc). Ueta belongs to the creative group Euphrates, and as a picture book and animation artist has demonstrated a rare sense for linear and formal composition. A merging of the ideas and design talent of Ueda Mio and Hosotani’s spirit of technological experimentation has produced « I'm a minute. ». Through the idea of turning the viewer’s body into a set of numbers, they have created a unique device that allows two indefinite elements, namely, the outline of a person's body and his or her internal sense of time to be sensed visually.
